Good location, close to subway, in the "oriental" neighborhood, polite staff, good coffee shop, large room

Very simple breakfast, lack of more variety of fruits, no yogurt. Booking shows the hotel provides safe box in the room, but not every room has it. You have to ask for it in your reservation. Old hotel that had its heyday a few decades ago but still has its value. Small renovations would be welcome.

Great location with lots of good restaurants nearby, and less than 10 minutes walk from a metro station. Friendly staff, great breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was a little dated - this wasn't a problem for comfort, but there was some permanent staining on parts of the bathroom.

room was clean enough, for the value paid it worth the stay.

it was cold in Sao Paulo, when we asked why the aircon wasn't working to heat, they said it doesn't have heat functionality, and if we wanted they could bring more blankets. It was making 8 degrees in SP, I think having aircon definitely makes the difference, specially as some cold air was coming from the windows.

Good hotel in a nice place. Attentive and friendly staff.

Excellent location close to restaurants and cafes with Japanese food. The hotel offers breakfast for both guests who enjoy continental coffee and those who enjoy Japanese breakfast. Breakfast could have a greater variety of fruits and more variety of wholegrain breads, I also liked the shower with plenty of hot water.

I visited Sao Paulo in a very cold week. The room had no heating. On the night of arrival, the blankets were insufficient to sleep comfortably. The next day, the hotel provided more blankets.

Value for money hotel in the heart of the Japanese neighbourhood in Liberdade

There is a great little karaoke bar on the ground floor of the hotel run by a very genial Japanese host! Songs available in Japanese, Portuguese and English. We didn't sing but we're made to feel very welcome. The staff on reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Great localization but could be cleaner bedroom

Localization is very good, the size of the bedroom is great and the Wi-Fi is very stable.

The bathroom wasn’t so clean, for example the bathtub and the box glasses had some dirty spots. The bed was very old and had some rips.
